Kino4
Here are two of my final designs for the Kino4 project. I’ve focused on the mystery that surrounds the story of the film and used colours that reflect the dystopian setting of the film and the general atmosphere that exists. I’ve taken a lot of inspiration from Polish poster art and i think this can be easily seen, especially in the typography.

Who I am and what i want.
I love this video. I’m a big fan of Dave Shrigley and i don’t buy into the idea that he cannot draw, i think his illustrations are excellent and very considered.

Cashback
Saw this film recently and really enjoyed it. Sean Ellis was fairly standard graphic designer who decided to write, produce and direct this movie. I think it’s a good example of how you can branch off into anything as long as you have the motivation. It’s an excellent film beautifully shot as well as being funny and heartwarming, I’d lend anyone my copy if they fancied watching...

Takashi Okada
Stumbled across Takashi Okada while flicking through a design site and was really taken with his/her designs. I used a lot of ink in my own work and i really like the very expressionist way it’s used through this portfolio. All of the work has a very organic feel to it and the handmade typography is fantastic. http://www.hybridgraphic.com/portfolio/
